Many People have been asking the question what is taking place between the Bruce Golding led administration and sandals chairman Gordon"butch"Stewart,The country is livid about the propose deal by the government to sell Mr Stewart the sandals white house hotel which was lease to sandals by the previous administration. Some of the questions being asked is why and how can a government lend a billionaire money to purchase a hotel from government the coffers? and why Mr.Stewart never went to the local banks to seek funding for the deal? the hotel is being sold for US$40 million dollars, Mr. Stewart is to make a down payment of US$7.2 million and the rest of money is being giving to Mr. Stewart by the government through a so call vendor's mortgage at 6 percent for seven years, can this be real? the people of Jamaica are being taken for a foul for far too long and its time Jamaicans wake up and smell the coffee and stand up to these politicians who have been sucking the blood from the people for over 40 years.
