A New Type Of Politics to move Jamaica Forword

Jamaica gain its indepence in 1962 from the British and from then we have used the same westminister political model which has not worked for us as a nation but only for the power graving politicans who use it as away of saying in power and keeping their hands on it for as long as they want to.
For a nation of 2.7 million we can't continue to use this model because it limits us and does't take us on a path of political growth ,we need to move to the presidentail system where no longer one man can hold the country at ransom anymore in order to call a election,no one can say into power no more than two term and no more abuse of the legisation power.

The jamaicans polticains have use this model for far too long and it has only carried the jamaican people on a downward path, its time we Jamaicans look into this Presidentail model and time we start as a nation take more interest in our politics now and not only when its a election.

The I.M.F Debate

That big debate in the Jamaican Parliament on Tuesday on the I.M.F deal that Jamaica is going into with the agency is suppose to be a show down with the leading opposition party the People's National Party (P.N.P)and is going to be the main focus of the day.
The P.N.P has been the ruling party for over 18 years they lost in the general election in 2007 to the now ruling party in government the Jamaica Labour Party (J.L.P) the P.N.P has done more harm than good to the economy by their former Finance minister Dr.Omar Davies which is suppose to be their main man leading the opposition charge in the Parliament.
But how can a country have any trust in a man who has damage the countries economy so badly that it took the government almost 9 months to come some agreement with the I.M.F? What can Dr. Davies tell us that we can trust anything this man has to say? Dr.Davies has been the Finance minister for over 13 years and for those 13 years the Jamaican economy has seen no growth what so ever, the dollar has been unstable, no job creation and for every dollar we earn more half of it has to go back to pay for the debt that his government has created,so it will be very interesting to hear what he has to say tommorrow.

The Jamaican People

I'm Carl from Jamaica and i have found that my Jamaican brothers and sisters are some of the most loving ad caring people you can find on the face of this earth. What drove me make this point his how the Jamaican people came together and donate money, food and clothes to our Haitian brothers and sisters dispite all the economic problems we have been facing for so many years. We gave because we are a loving and caring set of people, many bad things have been said about Jamaica like crime and violence is out control but thats not so, we have been making progress but the international press seems not want to publish that news just like our own local media houses here too.

But all in all Jamaica is a fun place to visit and i encourage all people from all walks of life to come to Jamaica and learn our culture which is rich and full of story about our people, so welcome to jamaica.

Haiti

The Caricom Leaders has now shown the world that they are incompetent and mean to each other no good, and some are so selfish and mean that they behave like nothing took place in Haiti. These leaders are so political and blind that they cant see danger in their face sometime, how can they say "Caricom" and have a country like Haiti in their backyard and not help them and now they are behaving like they care because the U.S is taking a leading role in helping haiti.
They should be a shame because they should be the one's taking the leading role in aid of haiti and not the U.S.
i will later give more details on each of these nations
